what a week it has been...

Well to start off, school started back last Wednesday. Austin Lee went into the 6th grade, I just can not believe I have a 6th grader!!! yikes. And Landon started 1st grade, so far school is great for them, Austin Lee likes all his teachers and Landon loves his. Last year Landon had problems keeping his mouth shut (he gets that from his daddy) so I was afraid of what this year holds, and what did he come home with yesterday? yes, a yellow light... for what? TALKING.. he is a mess. I will post pictures of there first day later on.

Ok so another thing that has been going on. Scott and I have for many many years now wanted his son Austin Todd to come live with us, but we could never talk his ex-wife into it. Austin Todd turned 12 in July, so we knew now was the time to jump at the chance. We hired a lawyer... wow they are high, and we got the papers drawn up. We had court this past Thursday it was a very long and drawn out deal, we were there allllll day. I had to actually get on the stand (which ive never done) I was soooo scared!!!!!! They did question Austin Todd, which I didnt like, but the judge wanted to hear him out. So finally 3pm comes and the judge says she didnt realize that this case was going to be hard my heart melted... she wasnt making her mind up that day. However she did say it was in the childs best interest to remain with his father until she makes her decision, which will be tomorrow. So we've talked to him and explained to him that he may have to go back. The thought breaks my heart but Im trying to keep an open mind and tell myself "he might have to go back". We feel really good about it, but i want everyone to say a prayer tonight for us, we will know tomorrow!!!! Im hoping for the best. There is just so much stuff that goes on where he lives and it worries us sick!!! I will let you all know something tomorrow... REMEMBER PRAY!!!!!!
